Sean and Arun have been rescued. Zak is still lost out at sea and is struggling to keep himself from sinking. In his mind he hears a montage of voices. Zak hears himself telling Fatima he loves her and then Sean’s comments about him being precious about Fatima but getting off at the first chance he gets. Pete and Robin are at the beach watching the helicopter looking for Zak. Pete hates the thought of Zak being alone and Robin thinks they should just go to the hospital and sit with Arun and Sean. If Zak is found they will bring him to the hospital anyway. Pete wants to know how long Zak has realistically got out there in the cold. Robin tells him it’s probably minutes.
At the hospital Sean and Arun are both blaming themselves. Meanwhile Pete and Robin see a helicopter hovering indicating it might have found something. Zak has hauled himself onto a rock and collapses in exhaustion. He recites a Quranic prayer to himself as the rescue men winch him up. Pete and Robin drive fast towards the hospital and wonder what actually happened.
Sean goes to Zak’s hospital room and is apologising for his comments about Fatima when Robin walks in. Zak tells Sean how he was reciting prayers in the hope that he would be saved. Pete and Arun join them and Robin asks if anyone wants anything. They all ask for different things. Robin reckons she may as well bring the whole vending machine!
Later, Robin asks Sean what really happened out there. Did they run out of petrol? Sean tells her that’s only half the story. Zak and he fought about her. Robin explains nothing happened between her and Zak. Robin jokes Sean will have a tale to tell when they get back home. Sean reckons they will be keeping this one under wraps……
