The boys are off to Newquay and have taken Nadia’s car which isn’t proving too reliable. It breaks down and Zak has to fix it – their personal driver and mechanic! They’re finally on their way and Arun is getting excited by all the girls around. They arrive at the B&B Surfer’s Retreat but it doesn’t exactly live up to its name! Arun and Sean walk down to see Uncle Pete but Zak decides to stay put for a while. Arun jokes about Zak just wanting to open the six pack he had stashed in the boot.
Arun is fascinated by the sight of so much talent and can see why Pete moved to Newquay. Sean reminds him they have girls back in Silverhill too. Arun teases Sean about missing Fran. The subject changes to Zak, and Sean is worried about Zak getting drunk again; like at the Mela. Arun thinks they should all just relax and enjoy themselves. They deserve a holiday, especially Zak!
When they arrive at the surf shop Pete is in charge of, they spot a girl called Robin. After a exchanging a few words with Pete, she leaves. Sean and Pete are happy to see each other. Arun wonders who the girl was but Pete ignores him. Pete reckons they should hit some bars or clubs but doesn’t think its Zak’s kind of thing. Arun tells him he’s well into that sort of thing these days.
Later on, at the bar, Sean asks if surfers wear anything under their wetsuits and Robin replies in a teasing flirtatious way. Arun approaches the two and explains Zak has wandered off so Pete has gone to find him. When Pete returns, he thinks they should all call it a night because Zak isn’t in a good way. Arun doesn’t want to leave especially when Robin tells him some girl in the corner is eyeing him up. Robin and Sean reckon they should have a surfing lesson tomorrow seeing as Arun might be busy and Zak will be knocked out….
