Zenab’s trying to recruit a few more players for the five-a-side football. She ropes in a reluctant Pradeep whilst Siobhan is busy promoting ‘Brian’s Brew’, his home made lager, in a mystery taste test.
The football match kicks off with the guys’ team playing the girls. Zenab gives an enthusiastic commentary but despite her encouragement to the girls, the guys walk off with the trophy, winning two-one. As they leave the pitch, battered and bleeding, Pradeep complains about Rita’s dirty tactics. Zenab dismisses his moans because the men hardly played fair either, Sway deliberately tripped Nadia up!
Fran spots Roopa and goes over to apologise for taking her job. Roopa assures her there are no hard feelings. In fact it’s worked out great; she gets to spend more time with Aidan and the band. Fran’s not sure that’s such a good thing but says nothing. Roopa wonders where Jodie’s got to and Fran says she’s helping Mani in the Shairi tent. Roopa reckons Mani’s a really cool dad and raves about what a free spirit he is. Fran’s irritated by her admiration, especially when Roopa wishes her dad was more like Mani. Just then Siobhan joins them, she greets Fran frostily so Fran makes her excuses and goes back to her stall. Siobhan wants to know all about Roopa’s adventures on tour. She’s disappointed that she missed the Manchester gig. Roopa could have stayed with her. Roopa laughs; it’s not very ‘Rock n Roll’, staying with your mum’s mate!
Then its time for The Sightseers to hit the stage. Dedicating their first number to Fatima, the band launch into Dil Se. Siobhan and Pradeep marvel at Roopa performing so confidently. Siobhan asks if Pradeep’s met Fran yet, at least he hasn’t got those worries, Aidan seems such a nice guy. Pradeep snorts; that’s what Siobhan thinks. Aidan’s a liar and a poseur who dumps his problems on Roopa. Siobhan sighs, knowing she’s got all this to come with Hannah. Almost in tears Pradeep confides in Siobhan he’s at a loss how to deal with it anymore. His kids are his life but when he tries to guide them, and show them he loves them they just run away. Sometimes Pradeep feels that his children just couldn’t care less about him.
