Siobhan’s back in Silverhill, to take Hannah to the Mela. She’s growing up so fast Siobhan tells Brian. He reckons Hannah will soon be a tearaway just like her mum but Siobhan doesn’t want to think about that. Siobhan spots an auction sign outside the gym and asks Brian what’s going on. He explains the investigation is over so it’ll be up for auction. Jai won’t see a penny though. All the proceeds got to the Crown Estate. Brian muses that he might make a bid himself. Siobhan’s surprised, the gym never made any money. Brian wouldn’t open it as a gym though. It’s prime property and could make him a nice profit. They sit down by the canal and Siobhan points out the warehouse where she and Jai partied on the roof just a few months back. She sighs when she thinks about all the trouble she’s caused and wonders if Rita still blames her. She probably even blames Siobhan for Roopa running off with the band. Brian tells her to stop fretting and to think about her own kids.
Arun turns up at the studio to finish a track but its booked solid all day and then Ranbir’s doing some late night stuff with Kuljit. Arun’s just about had enough and he storms out. Later Ranbir hunts Arun down because he needs a hand with some stuff for the Mela. Kuljit’s designated Arun as Senior Technician so he’ll be responsible for all the equipment and cables. Arun sighs and takes the list. Reckoning Ranbir owes him a favour Arun asks him to sort him out some time at the studio but Ranbir can’t help him. “Thanks for nothing” says Arun under his breath.
Siobhan and Brian stop for a drink at Pumpworks where Fran takes their order. Overhearing their conversation she hears Siobhan’s name and asks if she knows Sean. “Know him? He’s her son” confirms Brian. Fran introduces herself and Siobhan is caught on the back foot. She didn’t even know Sean had a girlfriend. She’s not exactly warm and welcoming but Fran ignores her hostility and raves about Siobhan’s vintage dress. When Fran’s gone Siobhan bitches to Brian that she’s way too old for Sean, and her hair needs a good brush. Brian laughs and tells her to put the dagger away; mommy’s just jealous that Sean’s got a new playmate.
