Roopa is in the transit van with Aidan and the band on their way to Manchester. Aidan and the band are discussing other bands and their styles of playing until everyone pauses when Roopa offers them a toffee. Aidan is dismissive in his reply to her and continues chatting with the band. Roopa tries to join in with their chat but just ends up embarrassing herself whilst the rest laugh at her. Her phone rings again and the lads just tell her to answer it, she must have loads of messages backed up but she wants the folks at home to sweat it out a bit more. She asks to stop at the service station as it stinks in the van!
Aidan offers to buy Roopa some food as she has to watch her cash and then he heads to the gents where the lads are throwing water at each other, he joins in, Roopa is not impressed so decides to listen to her voicemail from her mum, they just want to know where she is. Roopa turns her phone off.
The boys are in the arcade and Steve tells Roopa to take over from him. She beats them all hands down!
Back in the van, they are about to get going but the engine doesn’t start. Roopa is not impressed with having to push the van in the rain and gets even more annoyed when Milo asks if she’s scared of breaking a nail. The van starts as they are pushing it and they all jump in again and see the funny side to it.
Aidan thinks it’s a great time to practice their new material but Roopa’s not so keen. She doesn’t mind practicing the set that they know better though. Steve insists she get over her nerves now. Roopa wants to know who he thinks he is, Bono? They then all burst into a U2 song as Aidan strums along to it and Roopa ignores her phone ringing again.
