Sean’s busy behind the bar when he’s startled by an unexpected visitor. Fran’s taken him up on his offer of place to stay. He’s delighted to see her and as soon as he can get away he takes her back to the Akhtar’s so she can freshen up. She’s been on the road for a few days and needs a good soak. Unfortunately before Sean can warn Zak about their house guest he bursts into the bathroom to find Fran naked in the tub!
When Zak’s recovered from the shock Sean explains that Fran just turned up out of the blue. Zak’s not daft though and Sean sheepishly admits that he might have mentioned at Glastonbury that she should look him up if she was in the area…and that he’d love to see her again. Zak laughs to see how smitten Sean is and assures him that it’s fine for Fran to stay.
Simran despairs at her mum’s choice of colours for the floral arrangements. Surinder explains the purple, yellow and orange will match the mendhi outfits and Simran has to confess that she really doesn’t like them either. She’s still upset when Jodie pops round to discuss the hen night arrangements. Simran can’t really get enthusiastic about that though with all the wedding plans going awry. Jodie’s attempts to lighten the mood, making a joke of it, have the opposite effect. Simran’s worried what people will think if things aren’t right because her mum has messed it up and says she’ll be the subject of gossip for years. Jodie misunderstands and asks if she’s worried about people gossiping about Kesar. Simran is shocked to hear her friend ask that and Jodie quickly back tracks pulling out some brochures for weekend breaks. She tells Simran not to worry, she’ll sort everything out. All Simran has to do is turn up. It’s the last straw for Simran. She’s lost control of her wedding and now Jodie’s trying to hijack her hen night. And look at the mess her mum is making of the wedding! Jodie’s offended that Simran doesn’t trust her with the arrangements and she storms off telling Simran she can organise it herself. Simran can just let her know when to turn up…if she wants her there all that is!
