Jas is in a panic after a worrying phone call from Kamla. She could hear screaming before the line went dead. Jas phones Ambika only to find out that Kamla went to Manhattan on her own. Jas and Greg drag Ambika out of a meeting to help but Ambika reckons Kamla’s a grown woman. She’ll turn up and Ambika has a meeting she needs to get back to. Jas and Greg can’t believe what a heartless bitch she is.
Greg soon has every security guard in town looking out for Kamla. He reassures Jas that thanks to Giuliani New York is the safest city in the world. Just then Jas’s phone rings and its Kamla, oblivious to the mayhem she’s caused. She’s had a lovely day in Little India, shopping and going to the cinema. The screaming Jas heard was from a Hindi film when Kamla sat on her phone! When they all finally meet up Jas offers to put Kamla on the train home. But Kamla wants to do more sightseeing so Greg persuades Jas to take the rest of the day off so they can escort Kamla round the City.
The threesome end up in Little Italy for lunch. Seeing Kamla flirting with the chef Greg reckons she is one cool chick. Jas laughs that if he was Hindu Kamla would be trying to marry them off. Greg says that wouldn’t go down well with the Cohen family; his mom wants him to marry a nice Jewish girl. Jas is taken aback; doesn’t his mum know he’s gay? Greg laughs, saying of course she knows! Then Kamla rushes over, chef Luigi told her this is the best time to see Central Park so off they go.
Kamla watches Jas and Greg as they muck about in a rowing boat. Jas tries again to pump Greg for information about Suresh and Cindy. He tells her it’s no big deal so why is she so hung up about it? She should be more concerned about her own love life; there’s a guy in accounts who’d like to get to know her better! Jas protests that she can’t. Of course says Greg, there’s still Vinnie. Well its time she did something about Vinnie and if Jas won’t he will. Greg grabs for Jas’s phone rocking the boat and splashing them both with water as they collapse in giggles.
