Roopa waited up for Aidan but he was having a smoke with the band. Roopa comments on how good the headlining band was last night but Aidan doesn’t seem to think so. She suggests going to the circus field but Aidan’s seen it all before and tells her to go alone. She senses his bad mood and tells him that maybe he needs to lay off the smoke. Aidan is annoyed that she’s telling him what to do and besides, it’s not the weed.
Sean has spent a cosy night with Fran in her Tipi. Fran can’t believe that Sean knows Jodie Howard, they used to be like sisters as their mums were best friends.
Roopa asks Zak how his festival experience is going. Zak feels guilty for being there so soon after Fatima’s death but Roopa reassures him that Fatima would be pleased. They discuss all there is to see at Glastonbury but Zak can’t leave the stall until Arun gets there. Aidan approaches and tells Roopa to hurry, they’re moving their equipment. Roopa just about gets a chance to tell Zak which stage Aidan’s band is on.
Aidan shouts at Roopa for telling Zak where they were playing, she just can’t keep her mouth shut. He’s not playing with the band, he’s their roadie! He just needs Roopa to get lost for a bit. Roopa tearfully says she wouldn’t have said anything if she’d known. Fran and Sean overhear everything and are not impressed with Aidan’s attitude towards Roopa.
A merry Zak, Fran and Sean join hands so as not to lose each other. Zak tells Fran that he’s loving the festival, there’s a connection you get with everyone around you even though they are strangers to you.
Aidan later apologises to Roopa. He left that band but they are having the last laugh now. Roopa consoles him, they still have their own band. Aidan knows he needs to get rid of this negativity and softens a little. Roopa cheekily asks if she can go on tour with them. Aidan’s fine with it but he’s not sure her dad will be!
