Have your say
At Glastonbury, Satya is angry that Vinnie is an hour late. What’s worse, Vinnie has to run the curry wagon, strict orders from Vinnie’s dad. Vinnie can’t believe it, he’s been stitched up but Satya thinks it’s about time Vinnie took responsibility, his dad had to beg Mani to take him on, now he can prove his father wrong.
Vinnie has to relay the bad news to the rest. Arun and Sean think he’s joking but it’s clear, they’ve been conned. Vinnie tells them they’ll get paid and he’ll work out shifts so they can still see the bands they’re interested in. They refuse until Vinnie says he’ll tell Security that they got in with catering passes under false pretences. Sean and Arun are forced to put up the tents whilst Zak gives Vinnie a hand with the stall. Roopa has spotted Aidan and has no intention of helping anyone.
Fran who is working on the stall next door tells Sean that he’s using the wrong pegs for their tent. She introduces herself and her stall which has pamphlets to do with food miles and fair trade. Arun’s not impressed by her and tells her he won’t be drinking her wheatgrass juice! Sean is surprised when she tells him she’s in the Tipi field with a friend.
Vinnie has Arun and Zak on chopping duties whilst Sean is frying pakoras. Vinnie gives them aprons in the form of orange kurthas! Arun think he looks like a lollipop, how embarrassing! Zak has seen Roopa in Aidan’s fancy caravan. Arun, Sean and Vinnie think she needs a visit and leave Zak at the stall.
They creep around the caravan which is more like a motor-home and then decide just to charge in! Arun can’t believe there’s a kitchen, a lounge, a shower and a toilet in there! Vinnie wants to strike a deal with Aidan, he’s allowed free food all weekend if Vinnie can sleep there too. Aidan knows the band won’t be happy and asks them all to leave but Roopa tells Arun, she’s not going anywhere!
