Arun is listening to Jay Z on his headphones. Roopa offers to bring a signed CD back from Glastonbury for him but Arun says there’s no need. He is going to Glastonbury himself. Roopa is obviously thrown but pretends she’s cool with it. Maybe they could hang out together? Arun correctly guesses she hasn’t told their parents yet and wants his help. This is confirmed when Roopa suggests they grab a coffee and catch up. Arun says no adding Roopa had better get a move on with telling Rita and Pradeep or the only Glastonbury she’ll see is on the television!
Zak is helping Sean with his stuff when Arun turns up to tell them about Glastonbury. Vinnie has got four passes and there’s no way Arun would leave his closest friends behind. Sean says he has always wanted to go but Zak reckons they should leave him out as Glastonbury isn’t really his thing. Zak grabs a box and heads inside. Sean tells Arun that if Zak doesn’t go he won’t be going either. He promised Zak’s parents he’d keep an eye on him and can’t swan off the first weekend he moves in. Later Zak feels guilty that Sean isn’t going either and hands him his phone. Sean had better ring Arun for those tickets before Zak changes his mind!
Elsewhere Vinnie is trying to persuade Mani that going to Glastonbury has its advantages. He and Arun can promote Saffron Rays by wearing t-shirts with the logo on and they can recycle them for this year’s mela too. Mani tells Vinnie about his own Glastonbury experiences and says he is preaching to the converted. Vinnie realises Mani has been toying with him and was going to say yes all along.
Roopa turns up at the restaurant to see Arun. She reckons if they talk to Rita and Pradeep together she might be allowed to go. Besides Arun owes her for all the trouble he got her into over Aidan. Vinnie shouts out for Arun to get back to work. As Arun rushes off Roopa is on the verge of tears. Why is Arun hell bent on spoiling this for her?
