Arun’s making himself useful helping Vinnie to settle in to the flat. It’s not out of the goodness of his heart though; he has an ulterior motive. He keeps dropping heavy hints about moving in himself but Vinnie doesn’t want to share. He’s looking forward to his first night home alone. As they bring Vinnie’s stuff in they come across a cupboard filled with junk. Vinnie pulls out fondue sets and a toaster. He tells Arun every item has a story according to Mani. Apparently Mick Jagger had a slice of toast with treacle on from that toaster. Hence the Rolling Stones album; ‘Sticky Fingers’. The lads roar with laughter at Mani’s tall tales.
Krishan’s found a box someone’s left at the City Farm with some kind of animal inside. He asks his dad what he should do with it but Pradeep is busy mending Mooli’s pen. Mooli wants to play though and he butts Pradeep, knocking him head first into the mud. Impatiently Pradeep yells at Krishan to use his initiative and sort it out himself.
Krishan takes the box home and up to the bathroom. Roopa wonders what he’s up to and puts her head round the door. Krishan tries to push her out but she can see he’s hiding something behind the shower curtain. She teases him that it’s something he’s nicked for Jodie again. Krishan angrily pulls the curtain open to reveal what he’s really hiding. Roopa lets out a scream and races out as she sees the snake in the bath! Pradeep makes Roopa some tea to calm her down and asks Krishan whatever was he thinking. Krishan can’t understand what all the fuss is about; it’s only a baby snake! Just then they hear a commotion from upstairs. When Arun comes racing down screaming there’s a whacking great snake on his bed Krishan and Roopa fall about laughing. Arun is livid; he’s had as much as he can take of sharing a room with Krishan.
Alone at last Vinnie cracks open a beer and settles down to watch a DVD in peace. It’s barely started though before there’s a knock on the door. It’s Arun…and by the look of his bags he’s there to stay, no matter what Vinnie says.
