Jaggy and Kenny are still at odds at Silverhill Rangers despite a shaky truce. Jaggy storms out of a meeting with Kenny and Mushtaq about a player who’s gone awol leaving to other two to sort it out. On his way out Jaggy bumps into Sameer in the car park. Sameer’s put off returning to work for an extra day to come and talk to Mushtaq. He thinks it would be good for Rozena to go back to work at the club in her old job. Jaggy laughs and asks if she wouldn’t prefer the manager’s job. He’d rather deal with her than Kenny!
Sameer puts his head round the office door and asks Mushtaq if he could spare him a few minutes. Mushtaq is just heading off to see Carrie about a problem with the programme design so he leaves Sameer to have a coffee with Kenny while he waits. Sameer mentions to Kenny his plan to get Rozena back to work. Kenny’s not overjoyed at the idea of her coming back though. Rozena was a bit too proactive for his liking! Pretending to have Rozena’s best interests at heart he confides in Sameer that Sandra lost a baby before she had Darren. He reckons the worst thing he could have done would be to force her back to work too soon. Kenny nips out to warn Mushtaq privately what Sameer is planning then leaves them to it. Mushtaq also has reservations. He thinks Sameer and Rozena should concentrate on trying for another baby. If she throws herself back into work there’ll be no chance of that.
Jaggy and Simran have lunch before heading into town to look at wedding jewellery. Simran has asked Jodie to be her Saheli and Jodie’s planning a wild hen night for her. This reminds Jaggy and he tells Simran that he’s asked Sameer to be his best man come Svala to cheer him up. Simran’s not sure it’s such a great idea. Surely he’s got enough on his mind already. And isn’t Jaggy forgetting something…what about his brother Jinx? Gurpreet will go spare when she finds out he hasn’t been asked and it’ll be Simran that gets the ear bashing, not him!
