Bill’s on his way to the surgery and bumps into Dr Masud on the way. He’s on his way to clear his desk and tells Bill how the other partners thought it best if he went back into retirement. Bill thinks it’s a shame; he’s a good doctor and what he did for Kamal was a great thing. Dr Masud wishes all his patients felt that way. Bill tells Dr Masud how he hasn’t been able to sleep since the accident without pills. Dr Masud reckons it’s not uncommon and not to worry too much. Bill’s hoping that once the inquest is over things will improve. Dr Masud’s worried it might be too much for him. Bill’s adamant though; he has to go otherwise people will think he’s trying to hide something. For Fatima’s family’s sake he needs to give his evidence so they know it was an accident…a terrible accident. They walk into the surgery together and as they enter Dr Masud is greeted by loud cheers and applause from the waiting patients who clearly support what he did for Kamal. Bill wonders if he should rethink his retirement but Dr Masud still thinks the time is right, but at least now he can go with a happy heart.
Pritam phones Jaggy with good news. There’s been a cancellation at the Gurdwara so they can have a summer wedding after all if Jaggy doesn’t think August is too soon. Jaggy jumps at the chance and tells Pritam to book it straightaway. The news throws Simran into a panic. How will she ever organise everything in time? Jaggy offers to go back to the original date if she wants but the chance of a summer wedding is too tempting. She’s just worried if she can pull it off in two months. It has to be her dream wedding, otherwise who’ll use her as a wedding planner if she can’t even organise her own! It seems that she’s going to get plenty of help though. Before the morning is out both Surinder and Gurpreet have bombarded her with their ideas. Surinder has even picked Simran’s wedding lengha. Typical man; Jaggy thinks its great that they want to help but Simran puts him straight. The most important day of a girl’s life is her wedding – and she’s just lost control of hers!
