Have your say

Mary confides in Brian. Will he talk to a depressed Bill? She tells him that Zak’s not ready to see Bill yet but doesn’t know how to tell Bill. Bill overhears them talking, he knows that everyone blames him. Brian thinks they all need some space so offers Bill a lad’s afternoon out playing golf.

Roopa is lying on the grass listening to Aidan strumming his guitar. Roopa asks Aidan if he fancies running some music sessions at the Parkside now that Sway is back in charge but Aidan would be happier playing a slot at the Mela. It’ll be a chance to play to a big audience. Later, Aidan gets on well when he meets Sway and tells Roopa that they need to rehearse at the weekend as Sway’s going to see their next gig.

Brian is nattering away but it appears Bill isn’t listening. He asks for the window to be opened and then starts panicking and grabbing the wheel, he wants Brian to stop the car. Later, Brian explains to Mary on the phone that Bill’s had a panic attack and whilst he’s on the phone, Bill walks off. Brian puts the phone down and shouts out for Bill.

Aidan notices Roopa is a bit down but she takes it the wrong way, in the way that will he always be watching her to see if she’s up or down? She confided in him about the bulimia but it doesn’t mean whenever she’s down, she’s back there again. Aidan’s cool about it and tells her to just cheer up.

Brian catches up with Bill. Bill apologises for grabbing the wheel and Brian apologises for taking him in the car, he should have known better. Brian reassures Bill that everyone knows it was an accident, Zak’s family just need time to get over everything. Bill says he can’t get the sound of the accident out of his head. Brian thinks he should stop punishing himself but Bill owes it to Zak to attend the inquest and he’s terrified that if he doesn’t face up to what happened, he never will.
