Have your say

Arun tells Sean he is tired from working at Saffron Rays. Vinnie has him slaving away in the kitchen and all under Pradeep’s watchful eye. Arun says he can’t take this much longer. He needs to make his music projects work and fast. Arun thanks Sean for getting him out of the house but isn’t so thrilled when he discovers they are going to see Zak. Arun reckons they should steer clear what with all this police raid business. Sean can’t believe Arun is behaving like this when Zak needs them but Arun says he is going home. Zak doesn’t buy Sean’s story that Arun couldn’t come because he is busy with work. Zak says he has his meeting with the police on Monday and doesn’t care what happens to him. He just wants it all to be over.

Dr Masud finds Shazia slumped at the kitchen table. The doorbell rings and Dr Masud only opens it when Shazia’s work colleague Maggie announces herself. Maggie is armed with newspapers but Shazia doesn’t want to see them. Maggie says it isn’t that bad in fact some of the press are actually being supportive. To prove her point Maggie shows Shazia some of the more positive headlines including one about Britain’s’ misguided asylum policies being exposed again. Maggie reckons today’s newspapers are tomorrow’s chip paper but Shazia thinks her constituents will remember this beyond tomorrow.

Elsewhere Shazia tells Maggie that Dr Masud doesn’t care that she is being forced to take the rap for his actions. And the political party want her to make a statement once the police decide what to do with him. Things aren’t being helped with some constituents hailing him a hero for financing Kamal’s fake passport. Maggie reckons they could use that to their advantage but Shazia thinks that would make things worse. Later Shazia asks Dr Masud why he is prepared to throw away everything he was worked for including his reputation. The doctor accuses her of only being worried about her reputation not his. A tearful Shazia can’t believe he is prepared to end both their careers over this …..
