Mary runs over to see if Bill is ok, he is bleeding and slightly confused but doesn’t know what happened. He slowly recalls Fatima running out in front of his car but he didn’t have time to stop. Bill pleads with Mary to see if Fatima is ok. When Mary approaches Fatima, she isn’t moving, Mary is hysterical, there must be something she can do, and then Fatima loses consciousness.
Fatima is taken straight to hospital where her condition is serious. The Doctor demands that someone calls her parents immediately.
Meanwhile at the police station, Zak is in a state, he needs to know how Fatima is but no one tells him anything as he is put in the cell.
Mary and Nadia share a taxi, Mary ‘s going to the hospital and Nadia is going to the police station. Nadia asks Mary what was going on. Mary explains that all she saw was Fatima running towards a police van. Mary’s in no doubt that it was a police raid. Mary tells Nadia that Bill was clear on the breathalyser so there must have been a good reason for Fatima to run into the road without looking. Nadia wonders why the police won’t let her go to Zak’s house, what could the Police be looking for?
Fatima is being examined but is not responsive, they need to get her in for a CT scan straightaway. They discover Fatima has several bleeds and need to talk to the neurosurgeons to see if the bleeds are operable.
Meanwhile, in the police cell, Zak is desperately banging on the door to get someone to tell him what is happening and what has happened to his wife.
