Rita scrapes what should have been Roopa’s dinner into the bin. Pradeep reckons she’s never this late but Rita suggests she’s probably still at the dance rehearsal with Simran. Pradeep isn’t convinced and reckons Roopa is probably with Aidan. Rita tentatively suggests they should invite Aidan round and get to know him properly. That way Roopa wouldn’t be sneaking around and Pradeep can put his mind at rest. Pradeep is horrified but Rita reminds him an emotional upheaval could trigger Roopa’s bulimia off again. They don’t really have a choice. Besides if Roopa actually thinks her parents approve of Aidan she may lose interest in him!
Elsewhere dance rehearsals are in full swing at the leisure centre but Roopa is losing patience with the dancers. Fatima reckons Roopa is being too hard on them besides Fatima needs to get a move on with decorating Katie’s hands with henna. Roopa says she’ll be done when they learn the second part of the routine. Fatima wonders exactly how long this is going to take besides doesn’t Roopa have a home to go to. To pass time Fatima tells Roopa about her wedding and how much she misses her family. She then asks about Roopa’s love life. What’s the score with that hunky chap Aidan? It’s obvious he’s into Roopa in a big way.
Back at home Rita is writing a birthday card for Rozena. She tells Pradeep he looks tired and should go to bed but he refuses saying he’ll wait until Roopa is back safe. Roopa gets home and tells them not to stop talking about her on her account. Pradeep tells Roopa they were wondering about something and Roopa takes this to mean they were wondering if she is still sleeping with Aidan. Pradeep asks if she is and Roopa tells him it’s none of his business. Rita tries to smooth things over but it’s too late. Roopa says they are doing her head in and storms out slamming the door behind her!
