Simran tells Jodie that Jaggy managed to persuade Pritam to let him pay for the wedding. As they chat Aidan sings in the background. Jodie explains Kuljit roped him into performing free of charge as Aidan can’t afford to pay for his recording studio sessions anymore. It’s a deal that works for all of them. Jodie asks Simran about her first wedding planning booking next week. Simran says it’s going to be Bollywood themed affair and she has Roopa choreographing the dancing. In fact she needs to talk to Roopa about the rehearsal tonight. Right on cue Roopa comes over but when Simran tries to talk to her Roopa seems more interested in Aidan.
Aidan finishes his set and Jodie offers him a snack on the house saying Roopa will sort it out. Kuljit tells Aidan he has earned himself some free hours in the studio. Jodie wonders why Kuls is being so generous when earlier he was complaining about Aidan not paying his bills. Kuljit tells Jodie he has had good news. Sway is finally coming back from Wales and Kuls wants to give him a proper welcome home with a party at the pub. Jodie suggests Sway might prefer something more low key. Kuls disagrees saying Sway has taken enough stick from people around here. This is their opportunity to show people they won’t be pushed around. Jodie tells Kuljit to keep his voice down. And its beginning to sound like the party is more for Kuljit’s benefit than for Sway.
Elsewhere Roopa is taking Aidan’s order but he is obviously not interested in making small talk and says he will be sitting outside. Roopa takes his food out and Aidan tells Roopa she shouldn’t blame Arun for telling him about Roopa’s bulimia. Arun was just looking out for her that’s all. Roopa asks if finding out about it is the reason Aidan hasn’t called. Aidan denies this but says he doesn’t want to put any pressure on her right now. Besides it’s Roopa’s personal business and nothing to do with him. Roopa wonders if they can get together later tonight but Aidan says he’ll see her around……
