Jaggy drops Simran off at a bridal shop in Southall before heading off to talk to her dad. Simran advises him to tread carefully when offering to pay for the wedding. Pritam is a proud man and won’t easily accept help. Jaggy tells Simran to concentrate on her shopping and leave Pritam to him.
Elsewhere Rita isn’t happy that Roopa is missing a college to ‘answer phones’ at the salon whilst Simran is away. Roopa says Simran has asked her to choreograph a Bollywood dance for the wedding of her first client. For Rita’s information it will be posted on the web for the whole world to see and is a million times more useful than some college coursework! Later, Roopa is showing the clients her dance routine when Rita turns up and admits Roopa is actually quite good. Rita wants Roopa to be home tonight for a webcam hook-up with Kamla in New York but Roopa says she is busy and can’t talk right now.
Pritam shows off his hot tub to Jaggy and Kesar and explains it’s not just for enjoyment. It reduces the pain from his arthritis. Jaggy gently tackles the subject of money for the wedding and Pritam says he only spent it on the hot tub because he lost hope of Jaggy and Simran ever getting married. Jaggy says he can afford to pay and there is no point in Pritam taking out a loan when he doesn’t need to. Pritam says he could have raised the money with more warning about the wedding but Jaggy points out he didn’t have much warning about it himself.
Pritam wonders what people will think if they find out he is taking handouts from his son-in-law. Jaggy says he owes Pritam and Simran. Tina was the biggest mistake of his life and he just wants to make up for what he did. Jaggy swears he will never let Simran down again. Pritam admits how grateful he is. Thanks to Jaggy a weight has been lifted off his mind……
