Mushtaq calls on Jaggy to return a training book and catches him on his way out to the park with Kesar. He tells Jaggy the sad news about Rozena losing the baby. Jaggy can’t believe it. Only the other day he and Sameer were making plans to take the baby and Kesar swimming together. He offers to put a DVD on for Kesar so they can stay and talk but Mushtaq insists he should spend time with his son.
Zak comes down for breakfast to find Fatima preparing the henna that Khatija sent from Pakistan. She’s teetering around the kitchen in the sparkly sandals his parents sent as well. He’s not impressed by the smell from the Mendhi, but he likes the sandals!
Jaggy leaves for the park with Kesar. Jaggy’s worried that Rozena and Sameer might hear Kesar’s excited chatter and tries to quieten him. He tells Kesar they are playing a game where they have to whisper. Coming back later, Kesar’s still playing the whispering game when they bump into Sameer. Jaggy explains that he didn’t want to disturb them, and tells Sameer how sorry he is about the baby. If Sameer and Rozena need anything, he and Simran are there for them. Sameer isn’t ready to share this with anyone yet though and tells Jaggy they need to be alone right now.
Fatima prepares for Katie’s Mendhi night and wants to practice on Zak. He snatches his hand away quickly, if he turns up to work with henna on his hands the other lads will laugh at him. Fatima’s got another idea and tells Zak to take his top off. The lads at work won’t see it on his shoulders! If he lets her she’ll wear the sparkly sandals for him again later…in the bedroom! Zak readily agrees and when she’s finished he checks out his new tattoo in the mirror. Fatima’s worried he doesn’t like it when he sees the flowers she’s painted on him. When she goes to wash it off, Zak stops her though. He loves it, and he says he’ll even model it for her if she wants. Fatima laughs and tells him there’s no way she’s letting anybody check out her man’s body. She’s not sharing Zak with anyone.
