Have your say

Suresh is on the phone lying to Ambika saying he’s in the shops when he’s actually sitting on a bench in Silverhill Park. Siobhan’s also in the park and recognises Suresh.

Ambika is helping Kamla get rid of some of her clothes and starts giggling when she gets a text from her personal trainer wanting to know if she’s doing her stomach crunches. Kamla asks if he is a Hindu? Ambika explains that he is Columbian and is also teaching the kids Spanish but Kamla wants to know who is teaching them Gujerati?

Suresh and Siobhan talk about their lives. Suresh tells her that he has lived all over the world but this is the place he calls home. He also apologises for Jai and the way he’s treated her and Sean. Siobhan tells him not to be too angry because otherwise she wouldn’t have Sean. Suresh assures Siobhan that Jai won’t be in touch again. Siobhan gets suspicious and asks if Jai has been in touch. Suresh lies by saying no.

Jodie notices Jas is a bit distracted in the cafe. Jas explains that Suresh has invited her to New York. Jodie is all for it until she realises it’s so soon and could be for a long time. Jas is confused but when Jodie outlines all the positive aspects of it, she warms to the idea but Vinnie doesn’t know either yet! Jodie believes chances like that don’t come easily and if she doesn’t go, she may live to regret it.

Kamla wants to take her blankets with her. Ambika is annoyed, they don’t sleep on the floor in America! Mary senses the tension between them as she visits Kamla with a gift and she warns Kamla not to fall out with Ambika, she has to live with her. Kamla gives Mary a photo of Mukesh, Sean’s grandfather and says she’d like to see Sean before she leaves. Mary believes Kamla has always been a good friend to her. Kamla reminds her that they’re family, what will they do without each other?
