Suresh is in the Golden Crown when Ambika comes looking for him. He introduces her to Mary. Ambika is annoyed, he was meant to be home ages ago. She whispers to him that his mother is impossible, she wants to take more of her belongings on the plane.
Brian warns Mary that there are health inspectors around as there is a new virus going round which is worse than bluetongue and foot and mouth! Suresh introduces Brian to Ambika who has already heard about him.
The Heath Inspector needs to ask Pradeep questions about the animals on the City Farm. There is a brownie pack visiting the farm so Pradeep is rushed off his feet but when the Inspector tells Pradeep that the brownies can’t get off the farm even though they didn’t touch the animals, Pradeep is livid. The Brown Owl thinks the children’s parents will call the police if they aren’t back soon.
To entertain themselves, the brownies sing, albeit badly! One of the brownies, Olivia doesn’t feel very well and thinks she’s infected. The rest of the girls start screaming when she shouts out that they’re all going to die! Brian thinks the whole thing is ridiculous and asks them if they’ve ever seen ‘The Great Escape’? Meanwhile the Inspector receives the long awaited call from DEFRA.
Brian is annoyed, he shouts at the Inspector, they are holding the brownies hostage! When the Inspector refuses to let them go in fear of spreading infection, Brian reveals it was an April Fool! Pradeep loses his temper and grabs Brian by the collar. Brian says he named the goat after him, he had to get him back somehow! The Inspector is livid too, they both run after Brian wanting to be the first to kill him!
