Pradeep tells Mary at the City Farm that Kamla will be arriving today on her way from India to New York. Pradeep gives Mary some eggs from the chicken enclosure, she’s doing Pete a big breakfast to cheer him up.
Rita is frantically cleaning the house ready for Suresh, Ambika and Kamla. Roopa offers to stay at Bina’s so they can use her bedroom. Arun knows Roopa only offered her room so that she can stay with Aidan. Arun warns her that Aidan has groupies after him and he doubts whether it’s just his autograph that he gives them!
As Rita gives Ambika a tour of the house, she’s aware that Ambika must think their house is tiny. Ambika explains that they will be staying in a hotel, they don’t want to trouble them. Rita says she knows Kamla can be stubborn and awkward but they really appreciate them looking after her.
Arun knows Roopa is disappointed when Ambika says they won’t be staying there. Roopa threatens Arun if he tells their parents about Aidan, she will tell them that she saw him smoking cannabis and he has a drug habit!
Suresh is at the café going through CV’s he’s been sent for a new project that he’s organising, he tells Jas that his offer still stands, she can fly out with them next week and she did say that she wanted to see the world?
Mary explains to Pete that Jai was laundering money through the gym. Pete thinks it’s not his problem until Mary tells him that the Police want to talk to him to see if he knew anything about what Jai was doing. Pete figures that until the Police eliminate him from their enquiries, he’s a suspect and storms out.
