Zak and Fatima are cooking dinner. Talib asks Fatima if she is nervous about meeting all of Zak’s friends but Zak reckons they will love her. Arun arrives saying Jas and Vinnie will be along in a few minutes. Once everyone is there Zak announces he and Fatima got married last week with a simple Muslim ceremony. He explains that with a Nikah it’s pretty much done with an Imam and a couple of witnesses. Arun seems disappointed that Talib was there and he wasn’t. Zak says they’ll have the big party in a few weeks. Fatima suggests they eat before it gets cold and jokes she laced the food with mind control drugs to make them like her. Vinnie tells Fatima she will fit in fine. Jas reckons the drugs are working already.
Roopa and Aidan are working on their Bollywood song but Aidan is struggling with one particular bit of music. Aidan reckons he has just the thing to get them back on track and pulls out a joint. Roopa decides to try it but shouts out when a bit falls out and burns her jeans. She hands it back to Aidan asking if he is inspired enough to finish the song now. Aidan suggests they watch some TV first. Later Roopa and Aidan are stoned and putting off getting back to work. They agree to have another joint, order pizza and have a quick ride on the stair lift. Then they will start again. All they have to do now is decide what to do first.
Sean is outside finishing a call when Arun comes out. Arun and Sean still can’t believe Zak didn’t tell them he was getting married. Zak has realised that all this hasn’t gone down well with his best friends so Fatima tells him to go outside and talk to them. Fatima tells Jas she recognised Arun’s ‘my mate’s married a headscarf’ look but Jas says she is wrong. Arun isn’t like that. Later the boys talk about Arun DJing later this week. Arun reckons it will be good for the old crew to be back together like old times and makes it clear that Talib isn’t welcome. Fatima shouts to them to come through for dessert. Arun and Sean lag behind and continue their conversation wondering exactly where Zak’s loyalties lie these days!
