Have your say

Rozena and Sameer arrive at the hospital filled with fear. The midwife is sympathetic and takes them under her wing. Soon Rozena’s contractions start and Sameer rushes to find Cathy, the midwife. Cathy heads straight for Rozena’s room but Sameer freezes. He can’t face going in. The midwife tells him to pull himself together, Rozena’s going to need him now, more than ever. Rozena frantically calls for Sameer but Cathy pretends he’s gone to the bathroom. Just in the nick of time Sameer appears at her bedside. When it’s all over Cathy asks if they are ready to see the baby. They both hold him and talk to him. Crying, they say their goodbyes to little Adam.

Kamal says an emotional farewell to Dr Masud, promising to keep in touch. They are both choked as the car pulls away knowing this is probably the last time they will meet.

Fatima’s worried Simran won’t be able to disguise the bags under her eyes. She was so excited last night she couldn’t sleep. She hands Simran the bag with her outfit and protests as Simran dumps it unceremoniously on the floor. Simran laughs and tells her to close her eyes. Fatima’s confused but does as she is told. When she opens them she sees Simran holding up a beautiful lengha. She’s incredibly touched when Simran explains that its Zak’s surprise gift to her. When Fatima’s ready Simran takes some photos and comments what a shame it is that no-one will see her lovely hair under her hijab. Fatima shyly replies that Zak will see it.

Zak and Fatima take their vows in front of the Imam and they leave the Mosque as man and wife. After the ceremony Kamal wishes them a long and happy marriage…with lots of children. Then he leaves for the airport with Talib, calling back to Zak and Fatima that he’s left a wedding present for them back at the house. When they get home Zak and Fatima find a beautifully decorated sej waiting for them in the bedroom. They laugh happily as they realise this is Kamal’s parting gift to them.

Meanwhile at the airport Kamal nervously rehearses his new identity. All too soon it’s time for him to get on the plane to Pakistan. He and Talib embrace as they say goodbye, but hopefully they’ll meet again … one day.
