There’s a lot of hustle and bustle at the City Farm. Rita’s got her wellies on and ready to get down and dirty for Pradeep. He laughs as everyone is listening to her! Rita tells him he should be proud of himself, he’s been the driving force of all this despite everyone helping out. They can gets the animals settled as soon as the sheds are up and running.
Zak calls Fatima and leaves her a message. He hopes he didn’t scare her but he meant what he said. He then rings Kamal leaving a message saying him and Talib are worried about him.
Shazia visits Dr Masud in surgery with bad news about Kamal. The Home Office feel it’s the right time for him to go back home as the political situation there has calmed down. Dr Masud is livid, he came to this country because he feared for his life. Shazia says she has heard of a fund that Kamal can contact for some financial help though.
Zak asks Talib if he has any leads on a fake passport. Without money, it’s useless. Also, Talib reassures Zak that if Fatima was scare of his marriage proposal, she would have done a runner straightaway.
Rita shows Shazia around the City Farm. She says she’ll put a word in for them as she’s doing an interview with the local press for Sport Relief. Rita asks her along to the launch too and then mentions that Dr Masud seemed distracted. Shazia says he has a lot on his mind worrying about Kamal being deported.
The door knocks, Zak thinks it’s Fatima but it’s Dr Masud. Dr Masud explains that Shazia can’t help Kamal. Zak gets wound up, what are they meant to do? Kamal needs to be with his family, they will just have to get the money. Dr Masud hands them an envelope saying they can do what they have to do to get Kamal to safety. Zak doesn’t know what to say, Kamal will be so grateful but Dr Masud says under no circumstances should Kamal know he gave them the money because he’s had enough of standing by and watching his friend suffer and no matter what they throw at him, he wants his dignity to remain in tact.
