Fatima is studying in Jodie’s café. Jas is due a break so asks Fatima if she can join her, just to listen to her Glasweigan accent if nothing else.
Brian walks in on Bill and Mary chatting about his cruise and Silverhill Rangers. Brian thinks it’s all just a money drain and an ego boost for Mushtaq. Bill’s shocked that he’s being so grumpy when he’s off on a cruise. Brian says he’s not going, he’s changed his mind, Bill asks whether it’s because his lady has turned him down? Brian gets annoyed saying she was probably too young for him anyway. He then offers the cruise to them. Mary and Bill feel bad as they were teasing him but they can’t go, they have a pub to run.
Sameer and Jaggy go jogging. They talk about Kesar and Sameer reveals that he’ll be wanting childcare tips off him soon. Jaggy’s delighted for him but Sameer tells him not to tell anyone else just yet. Jaggy thinks their kids may even be going to the same school!
Brian shows Mary and Bill the cruise details on his laptop. Mary insists they can’t go as it will fall under St Patricks Day too but Brian offers to look after the pub with Sean so they best get packing!
Jas tells Fatima how she enjoyed living in Glasgow despite feeling like she was so far away from home. Fatima tells her that’s exactly how she feels but Zak’s been sweet and taken her under his wing. She’s looking forward to spending more time with Nadia too. Jas suggests dinner at her place and she can even speak to her parents in Canada as they have a computer link now!
As Jaggy and Sameer confide in each other, Jaggy tells him that Simran has asked him to marry her. Sameer’s happy for him and reminds him again not to say anything about Rozena’s pregnancy, he’s still unsure about everything himself as they’ve had so many ups and downs. Jaggy believes having a baby can cement a relationship too, it worked for him and Simran. Sameer is just scared because he really wants the baby so Jaggy tells him to stop worrying.
