Sameer offers Rozena a peace offering of tea. He wants to give their marriage a chance and not just because of the baby. Rozena admits she hasn’t been the easiest person to live with and they agree to a fresh start. Sameer says he would like to come to the scan with her.
Brian is having a pint and tells Sean he needs it after walking in on Mary and Bill ‘getting it on’ in the kitchen. Sean jokes Brian is jealous because his older sister is getting more action than he is. Brian announces he has won a cruise and Sean fishes for an invite but Brian has someone else in mind.
Krishan is trying to set up the computer so that they can see Kamla in India whilst having their Mother’s day lunch. Simran turns up to see Rita and is dismayed when Rita tells her where Kamla is. Rita says she asked after Simran and Kesar the other day and that Kamla is thinking of them. Simran reckons it was great having Kamla around to help out with Kesar and wonders she s going to turn to now.
At the scan Rozena asks the sonographer if they can determine the baby’s sex yet but is told it isn’t conclusive at this stage. She can tell them the baby is perfectly healthy though. Rozena’s mobile rings and she switches it off saying it’s probably some work crisis or other. Elsewhere Brian sighs and switches his phone off. Sean quizzes him about this mystery companion for the cruise but Brian won’t tell him who it is. Sean reckons she must be someone special the way Brian is carrying on!
Simran asks if Jas or Roopa might babysit but is told they are busy. Rita is tied up with the city farm. Maybe Simran’s client wouldn’t mind if she took Kesar with her? Simran says it isn’t a client – it’s Jaggy. She has decided to propose to him tomorrow and may have to take Kesar with her. Rita doesn’t think this would be romantic and besides it’s a once in a lifetime situation. Simran should make it special. Simran says it will be special – as long as he says yes!
