Jas lets slip to a shocked Rita about Rozena’s pregnancy. Rita decides to visit Rozena to see how she is doing. Jas thinks it’s more a case of finding out why Rozena didn’t tell her. Elsewhere Rozena has just confirmed the appointment for her scan. Sameer says he he’ll be there for the baby. Rozena reckons it’s alright for Sameer to give up on their marriage but what about Rozena’s feelings? Sameer says he wants to take things one step at a time. Rozena reckons the time for thinking is over. She will deal with the pregnancy on her own.
After storming out Rozena bumps into Rita. Rozena is sorry she didn’t tell Rita but things aren’t that great. Rita suggests they head back to her place for a proper chat. Rozena agrees but would rather not know all the gory details about childbirth. Later, Rita says Sameer will come round eventually. Rozena admits she never intended to do this without Sameer. Rita replies in that case she must give him another chance.
Suresh has sent equipment so that the family can talk to Kamla over the internet. Rita tells Kamla things are a lot better between her and Pradeep but they all miss her. In fact this will be the first time Kamla won’t be here for Mothers Day. Kamla says Rita has Pradeep and their children – that’s all that really matters.
Roopa and Aidan are kissing passionately in the back of his car. Roopa mutters something about not expecting it to happen today. Aidan wonders if she means this would be her first time. Roopa says what the big deal with first times anyway. Aidan suddenly jumps into the driver’s seat saying he didn’t mean for things to get this serious. He should get Roopa home now. Roopa has forgotten her house key and Jas lets her in. Jas suggests Roopa is spending a lot of time with Aidan these days. Roopa reminds Jas she is practically an adult. She can take care of herself!
