Fatima is preparing tea and suggests Zak might want to cut down on his sugar. Zak suggests she come over for dinner tonight but Fatima can’t as she has a henna appointment at the salon. Zak jokes about her getting done up for his benefit. Fatima reckons all that sugar has gone to his head!
Jodie is surprised when Rozena orders a decaf coffee. Women only do that when they are on a diet or pregnant. Then Brian turns up and cracks a similar joke. Rozena reckons everyone will be talking about it soon. Brian asks what she means and Rozena says isn’t it obvious!
Jodie tells Simran about Rozena. Simran then says she has no dramas to report about Jaggy. It’s like being on honeymoon all the time. Jodie reckons you have to be married first besides what are Simran and Jaggy waiting for? Simran can’t see Jaggy proposing any time soon. Jodie reminds Simran the 29th February is only a few days away. Once every four years women can propose to their boyfriends on that date.
Outside Rozena is telling Brian about Sameer’s reaction to her pregnancy. He won’t talk about it and is avoiding her. Rozena doesn’t even know if he wants this baby. Brian suggests Sameer’s silence might be her answer and besides lots of people do it without a partner – sometimes it’s for the best. Later Sameer tells Rozena he does want the child but admits he isn’t sure about being with her. Rozena says she can’t deal with this right now and storms into the bedroom.
Fatima tells Simran she always gets roped into painting henna at weddings and it’s nice for someone to do it to her for a change. Fatima then asks Simran what her wedding henna night was like and Simran tells her an elaborate story. Later Simran admits she made it all up. She was describing how she wants it to be. Earlier her friend planted a seed in her head about proposing. Fatima says she should. After a short hesitation Simran says she will. She is going to propose to Jaggy!
