Have your say
Roopa searches for Suresh in the Golden Crown. Sean explains that he’s gone out and it’s his lunch break, does she fancy a bite to eat? As they walk towards Chunky’s, Sean asks about India. Roopa recalls she hated the smell and the heat at first but then by the end, she was loving it.
At the training ground, Jaggy wants the lads to put some effort in to their training but Kenny insists they’re just not fit enough. Jaggy knows they have talent within their own ranks and even suggests Justin, one of their players but Kenny believes they need muscle and height up front, not skinny little kids. He is a local lad who has talent and if he can get the goals in, Jaggy thinks they could make him a star. Jaggy then approaches Justin saying he wants him to train with the first team that afternoon.
At Chunky’s, Roopa shows Sean the India photos from her mobile. Sean explains to Roopa that all because they’re cousins now, doesn’t mean that they can’t do things like going to the cabaret again. Roopa is a bit hesitant but agrees, they shouldn’t feel awkward. Sean notices Roopa has mentioned Aidan three times, does she like him? She admits she thinks he’s cool. Later, Sean tells Roopa it’s not bad having the Chauhans and Dattanis as family, shame about Jai being the missing link though.
Kenny tells Jaggy that Justin, his young hope is afraid of the ball. Jaggy has a quiet word with him saying he bought him in to shake them all up, get amongst them and show them what he’s made of. At that moment, Justin scores. Whilst Jaggy is telling Kenny that he’s ready for the big leap, Justin is fouled and needs treatment from the physio. Kenny thinks it was a fair challenge and warns Jaggy that any opponent will do the same. He could be a star one day but not overnight and if they don’t win tomorrow night, it’s over for all of them because he’s putting his faith in a 17 year old!
