Have your say

Mushtaq faces a hostile audience but to Rozena’s amazement he makes an impassioned speech announcing that selling the ground is definitely not on his agenda. He’ll be investing in new players and he’s not giving up on Rangers!

Kenny wants to know when Mushtaq’s going to come up with the money for new players, but Mushtaq stops him in his tracks. He’ll have to wait, Mushtaq’s given Jaggy three days to prove himself using the players they’ve got. Kenny will just have to work with him for now and see what he can do. Rozena and Zenab want Mushtaq to reconsider before he ruins their businesses. Mushtaq is filled with a religious zeal though to raise Rangers from the ashes and will not be swayed. They’re his businesses, no-one else’s! Rozena feels kicked in the teeth after all her work. Mushtaq tells her he knows about the sporting event she cancelled when she found out it was seven months away. Mushtaq reckons she never believed they’d still be at the club then. He rants at his daughter for going behind his back and trying to manipulate him until Rozena silences him with a bombshell. She backed out because by that time she’ll be knee deep in nappies! Zenab immediately start fussing but Mushtaq knows his daughter well. He accuses her of doing the deal with the Council because if she can’t be involved with the club anymore – nobody else can either! Zenab pleads with him to stop as Rozena storms off in disgust.

Jaggy rushes over to the flat with a bunch of flowers and full of apologies but Simran looks confused. She knows Jaggy only has three days to turn things round so she wasn’t expecting him to do anything. Simran’s downloaded some tracks she found to take them back to when they first met. They take a happy trip down memory lane and finally put all the bad stuff behind them.

Rozena storms back in still upset about Mushtaq’s accusation. How can he say those things when all she’s ever done is try to please them. Later at home Mushtaq and Zenab muse about becoming grandparents, it’s the most wonderful thing that could happen. Zenab just hopes Rozena feels the same!
