The Chauhans are back home but Roopa is unsure as to whether to take her dad’s suitcase indoors, will he be staying? Rita cautiously asks Pradeep about his bags. He asks if it’s ok if he stays. Rita is delighted, he’ll clear his flat out later.
Sean tells Mary that no one told the delivery man that the gym had closed down, god knows where Jai is. Mary warns him to just stay away. Mary also wonders if Pete has found a woman in Australia as he sounded so upbeat, which is why she couldn’t tell him about the gym going under again.
Roopa, Arun and Krishan argue over who is going to get Kamla’s room. Suresh thinks he ought to stay at a hotel but an emotional Rita wants him to stay with them. Suresh wants them to start afresh now and they need space. Rita and Pradeep are left alone until Roopa barges in saying she deserves the spare room more than her brothers. Rita wants to get used to Kamla not being there and then they’ll think about it. Pradeep tells them no one is having it and sends them upstairs. Rita tells Pradeep that she’ll understand if he wants to sleep in there for a while but Pradeep reckons it should stay as a dining room. Rita thinks he’s going to say that he wants to sleep with her but he doesn’t.
Suresh visits Mary and Sean in the pub and has a present from Kamla. He also tells Mary that Kamla has decided to stop longer and who knows, may even stay there. Apparently, the present accompanies the other one. Mary knows it’s a figurine but Suresh says he won’t tell Kamla if she doesn’t put them up! Mary think Suresh should stay with them, after all, he is family and it would be good for Sean to get to know him. Suresh tells Sean he can get a hotel but Sean says he doesn’t mind.
Arun and Krishan argue again about their room. Arun calls him a mistake and says he may not be the only mistake now that their mum and dad have got together! Meanwhile Pradeep kisses Rita on the cheek and turns the lights out.
