Rozena finally goes to see her doctor, who confirms she’s sixteen weeks pregnant. Rozena reveals she has mixed feelings about the pregnancy and she hasn’t told her husband yet. Doctor De Silva says she’s still got time for a termination but she has to hurry and talk to her husband. Later, Rozena calls Sameer. It’s late in Dubai and he’s not able to talk for long, so she doesn’t manage to bring up the subject. As soon as she puts the phone down, she dials another number and asks to speak to someone about a termination, but then stops herself mid sentence.
Rozena calls in on Rita for a chat. Rita tells her she doesn’t think that Suresh’s going to sort their problems out. Rozena seems keen to talk to Rita but Rita’s got a lot of her own problems on her mind, and doesn’t seem to notice. Rita’s worried that Jai’s leaving’s had a bit of an impact on Krishan, but he’s dealing with it by studying, so she’s got to try too.
Suresh and Pradeep are at the football. Suresh asks Pradeep out right whether he’s having an affair but Pradeep puts him straight. Pradeep’s worried the kids might have heard the rumours but Suresh reassures him and tells him he’s keen to restore family harmony. Pradeep says that they all see Suresh as the head of the family, which upsets him as he’s the one who always picks up the pieces. But Suresh wants to help. He tells Pradeep he’s going to India on Sunday for a conference. He’d like him to come too – he owes him. Pradeep’s not sure - what about the kids? But Suresh won’t take no for an answer, and besides, the whole family are coming too! Suresh heads home after the football to talk to Rita. He tells her he’s been with Pradeep and Rita’s anxious to find out more, maybe on Sunday? But Suresh tells her he’s off to India. Rita’s upset. How he can leave when there’s so much at stake? But Suresh says he isn’t - they’re all coming with him! Rita’s unsure but again, he won’t take no for an answer. His company’s arranging it all, and Pradeep’s making an effort so why can’t she. On hearing that Pradeep’s coming too, she instantly says yes!
