Have your say

Suresh visits Jilani stores looking for a present for Pradeep, and finds Mushtaq there, who helps him pick out a Rangers alarm clock. They’re pleased to see each other and Mushtaq reveals he’s now the owner of Silverhill Rangers. Suresh’s amazed and starts to reminisce about their glorious past, which Mushtaq pretends he knows all about. Mushtaq manages to steer their conversation back to the present, suggesting Suresh comes to the home match on Thursday as his guest. Later, Sarah visits the shop, and chats with Mushtaq about Rangers – why’s he sold their star player? Mushtaq manages to hide his irritation at her questioning, as the phone rings. It’s Kenny, who needs Mushtaq at the ground urgently. Mushtaq explains he can’t get away as Rozena’s off. Kenny’s angry – he came on board to help with the football, not the club admin, and tells him to sort out his priorities.

Sarah appears at Pradeep’s front door. She wants to apologise for last week, but he tells her it’s nothing to worry about – they were both feeling vulnerable and they can forget it. Sarah’s not so sure as Kamla now thinks they’re having an affair. Pradeep tells her it’s Kamla’s problem what she thinks, not theirs. Sarah explains that they’re heading back to London soon, and that she doesn’t want to leave with any awkwardness between them. Pradeep assures her that they’re friends and so she leaves, kissing him on the cheek, just as Suresh appears. They’re all startled, but Pradeep and Suresh are really pleased to meet again. It’s been far too long. Pradeep says that Suresh has been called in by Kamla to save the day, but Suresh tells him that Pradeep’s the one who they all turn to in crisis, and now he’s not there, they’ve lost their core. Suresh is really grateful for all Pradeep’s done for the family, it’s not been easy for him! Pradeep explains that he needed to get away, to get some perspective, but he’s upset that he’s now being accused of having an affair. Suresh agrees with him – Pradeep’s been the one everyone’s relied on and he can’t believe Kamla’s gone against him. Suresh wants to cheer him up, and take him to the football. This isn’t him trying to get Pradeep and Rita back together, it’ll just be the two of them.
