Sarah has crashed on Pradeep’s couch and tries to explain her behaviour last night. Pradeep tells her to forget about it. Later Kamla pops round and is shocked when Sarah opens the door saying she just got out of bed. Gramps discovers Kamla crying on a park bench and she tells him what she saw. Gramps thinks there must be an innocent explanation and tries to put his arm around Kamla but she shrugs him off. He is after one thing just like his grand-daughter Sarah. Gramps denies this but Kamla says she never wants to see him again.
Elsewhere Zenab tells Rozena that Mushtaq is sorting out staffing issues at the shop only that’s meant to be Rozena’s job. Zenab grabs a stack of post to go through but Rozena says that pile is her personal post from home. Zenab discovers most of them are birthday cards for Sameer but Rozena pretends she hadn’t noticed. Later Rozena reads the cards out to Sameer over the phone but he is obviously having a party and needs to go.
Zenab thinks Rozena could have taken time off to go to Dubai for her husband’s birthday. Rozena insists there is too much to do here and she is ‘Head of Media Relations’. Zenab thinks she’d be better of concentrating on Marital Relations. Rozena picks up her keys saying she has a meeting with Rangers’ oldest fan. Zenab points out she is supposed to deal with that kind of publicity. Rozena hands Zenab the address of a nursing home but Zenab doesn’t seem so keen all of a sudden.
Roopa is singing along as she works at the café. Aidan comments but Roopa pretends it was the radio. Aidan reckons that voice is the right tone for a backing track he is working on. Roopa seizes the opportunity and tells Aidan the truth. Pradeep comes in and embarrasses Roopa by striking up a conversation with Aidan. Pradeep then describes the Arctic Monkeys as ‘The Monkeys’. Aidan says he needs to get going. Once he has gone Roopa thanks Pradeep for ruining her life!
Over at Sway’s flat Sarah offers to put Kamla straight. Gramps says Kamla isn’t in the mood to talk to anyone. Besides hasn’t Sarah done enough damage………
