Have your say

Pradeep turns up at the house first thing as promised. He gathers all the children together and sits them down to tell them how much he misses them. He breaks it to them that he won’t be coming home, but he’ll only be round the corner so he’ll still see them all the time. Pradeep tries to reassure his children that its nothing to do with them but he and Rita just need some time apart. The children are understandably upset and want to know how permanent this arrangement is. When Pradeep has gone Jas tries to reassure Krishan but Arun is more realistic. He reckons that things haven’t been right between their parents for ages and if hadn’t been for all of them they’d have split up years ago. Krishan wonders if he was a mistake, after all there’s four years between him and Roopa. If he hadn’t come along maybe they would have split up before.

Jaggy invites Simran to a PR event at Silverhill Rangers but she doesn’t fancy it. She and Jaggy aren’t a couple any more and people always ask awkward questions. Jaggy’s disappointed that he won’t be able to show her round so Simran placates him offering to come over later with Kesar for a tour.

With Pete away Bill’s giving Mary a hand with the papers at Brady’s News. Mary catches sight of the headline in the local rag and is horrified to see a story about Jai’s money laundering scam at the gym, and it looks like that’s not all he was involved in. Mary is worried how Sean will feel if he sees it and asks Bill to get rid of every paper, and quickly. Bill loads the papers into his car and drives off until he sees a skip. He starts to dump them but unfortunately Sean walks round the corner and catches him. Sean asks why he’s putting the papers in a skip but the penny drops as soon as he sees the front page story. He picks up a stack of the papers and tells Bill he knows a better place for them as he heads off. Bill goes back to confess to Mary that Sean has found out. Worried, Mary goes looking for Sean and finds him handing out the papers to every passer by. He tells his Gran that he wants everyone to know what a scumbag Jai is
