Have your say

The police pay Sean a visit asking questions about the gym. They ask about his relationship to Jai. Sean explains that he worked for him, but doesn’t mention that Jai is his father. Unfortunately the police already know Sean is Jai’s son and think it suspicious that he kept quiet. They question Sean further about the finances of the gym but Sean doesn’t know anything. They are looking for Jai but Sean can’t help them with that either. When the police have gone Sean storms round to the Chauhan’s. Rita lets him in, and fills Sean in on what she knows about the money laundering operation. Sean’s furious that Jai has dragged the gym into murky dealings. Rita doesn’t even try and defend Jai, she’s experienced his dodgy tricks too many times.

Kamla tries to persuade Pradeep to come home. He tells her gently that he needs to get to work but Kamla doesn’t give up easily. She offers Pradeep the money that Jai gave her. Pradeep refuses, he can look after himself. Kamla tries another tack, reminding him of the time she ended up on the barge and wouldn’t come home … it was Pradeep who talked sense into her and she wants to do the same for him. Pradeep gives in and tells her he’ll be there, first thing tomorrow.

Rozena’s arranged a meeting with Colin who runs the Rangers’ fan club. He’s bemused as she demonstrates the new chant she’s come up with for the fans. She wants to push the team as being ‘part of the community’. Colin explains that it doesn’t really work like that. It’s a football team, they don’t have an ‘angle’ and the fans make up their own chants. As Rozena cuts him off to take a phone call she hands him the words of the chant to distribute. Colin promptly files them … in the bin!

Sean calms down and confides in Rita about his feelings. He thought finding out about his dad would solve things, but it’s just made everything worse. Rita tells him he’s better off without Jai, he’s already got all the family he needs. Sean is comforted until Kamla walks in on them and blows it. Looking at Sean she immediately proclaims that he has Jai’s eyes. There’s no denying he’s a Dattani!
