Have your say

Mary talks to Bill and tells him she’s shocked to learn Jai is Sean’s father and that her own daughter Siobhan was thinking of running away with him. Bill tells Mary his daughter Mel saw Siobhan losing her temper with Hannah. Mary tries to brush off his comments saying all kids can be troublesome at times.

Krishan refuses Rita’s offer to help him with his homework and she decides to investigate further by calling Matty’s mum. She is surprised to learn that Matty has very little homework to do and wonders why Krishan is so swamped.

Siobhan tries to speak to Sean but he tells Mary to get rid of her. Mary tells her daughter what did she expect? Did she think Sean would welcome her with open arms? Mary points out she heard from Bill that Siobhan almost hit Hannah. Siobhan reminds Mary she used to hit her and Pete as children. Mary tells Siobhan this isn’t about her this is about Siobhan lying to Sean and running off with Jai. Siobhan interrupts her and tells her she wants to tell Sean the truth but he won’t listen. Yes, she thought about running away with Jai but she didn’t and yes she wanted to hit Hannah but she didn’t do that either.

Siobhan tells Mary she would never hurt Hannah and she wants a relationship with her son and when he’s ready to talk to her she’ll be there for him. Mary and Siobhan come to an understanding and she tells her daughter she is a good mother and not to let anyone tell her any different. After Siobhan leaves Mary tells Bill to tell his daughter Mel to keep her nose out of other people’s business instead of stirring up trouble.

Arun tells Sean that if it wasn’t for Siobhan lying about his dad then he’d still have a family. Sean accuses Jai of not being reliable and at least his mother came back to try and sort stuff out. Arun tells Sean to chill – he understands how Sean’s feeling. They shouldn’t fight now – they’re cousins and practically brothers. Sean gets really angry and tells Arun he’s a Brady and will never be a Dattani and he want’s nothing to do with Arun’s family. Not now! Not ever.
