All the noise from downstairs wakes Hannah and she calls out to see if Santa has been. Mark goes in to tell her it’s too early and to go back to sleep. In the bar Jai gives Siobhan a slow hand clap applauding her award winning performance. He refuses to believe she’s telling the truth this time. Siobhan tells Sean she was protecting him from Jai and didn’t want him to find out this way. Hannah joins everyone in the pub and wants to know if Father Christmas has left her any presents. Siobhan loses her temper with Hannah and tells her she won’t get any presents if she doesn’t go back to bed immediately. Hannah starts to cry and both Mark and Siobhan take her up to bed but Hannah refuses to let Siobhan put her to bed.
Sean says he should have guessed Jai is his father. They’ve both been in trouble and they’ve both spent time inside – like father like son. He used to think the worst thing in his life was the fact he never knew his dad but now it feels like a weight has been lifted from his shoulders.
Mark wants to know what Jai was doing with her bag. Siobhan tells him she went over to the gym to talk to him – it was nothing. Mark says he’s Sean’s father, how can that be nothing? Siobhan tells him to be quiet or he’ll wake Hannah. Mark reminds her she wasn’t so worried about their daughter before was she? When she was with Jai? Mark is furious and tells Siobhan he’ll be leaving with Hannah in the morning to spend Christmas with his parents in Manchester and she isn’t welcome.
Sean wishes Pradeep was his father instead and tells Jai he means nothing to him. Sean tells Jai that Siobhan may not be perfect but she is the only mother he has. Jai tells Sean not to get too attached to Siobhan - she’s a flake and a liar. Sean tells Jai to leave. But Jai makes a parting shot as he leaves telling Sean that Siobhan had her bags packed and was ready to leave with him and wasn’t even going to be there for his 21st birthday. On his way out Jai gets a call from Leigh telling him the clock is ticking and he wants his money in time for Christmas.
