Jaggy’s at Silverhill Rangers and is impressed with the players control technique. Mushtaq shows him the ground, it needs money spending on it but it is a part of his long term plan.
Kamla visits Jai at the gym with her building society book. Jai gets frustrated as they need a months notice to withdraw the money. Kamla explains that it was Pradeep’s idea so that she would get a higher rate. Jai gives her book back, the business opportunity will be gone by then.
Mushtaq takes Jaggy to his office but is shocked to see Kenny there. Mushtaq delivers the news. Kenny is the new manager. Jaggy can’t believe it. Mushtaq says he knows they have a history but he’s hoping they can go past it. Jaggy should have been told when Mushtaq offered him the job but Mushtaq says he didn’t know then, Kamal heard Kenny’s voice and told Zenab. Jaggy needs time to clear his head.
Siobhan and Jai are at the bandstand. She’s not slept worrying about him, he must be scared. She asks why he did it and he says they are two of a kind. He does it to prove them all wrong. He tells Siobhan he’s getting out of there and why doesn’t she come too?
Jaggy tells Kenny that he’s not been able to get a job because of Kenny’s friends. Kenny believes they both need to do what’s best for the Club. Kenny asks what more Jaggy wants from him, his son is in prison, he’s lost his club and his marriage just about survived, it could be his last chance too.
Siobhan tells Jai she can’t just leave, she has responsibilities. Jai thinks Hannah doesn’t need her, Mark’s there and Mary’s done a good job in bringing up Sean. Siobhan turns to leave as Jai grabs her and tells her to do it for him, he’s got no one. He cries saying he’s always tried to do what’s right but it never seems to work out, his dad, Suresh. Siobhan hugs him, she knows all this and says it’s life. Jai says it could be so easy, just the two of them doing what they want, no one preaching or judging. It’s not the life she wants so she agrees to go with him.
