Have your say

Sean and Mark walk slowly towards Zak’s house. Mark is concerned about Sean’s beating and says if he ever wants to talk, he’s there. Sean manages to say a quick hello to Talib and Zak who are cooking for the circle that evening. Sean explains to Mark that the circle is an Islamic group. Zak never used to be in it as much as he is today.

Talib leaves Zak cooking whilst he goes to pick up the brothers from campus. Zak hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing and rings Nadia for help who talks him through it until Fatima arrives. She ends up helping Zak cook. They have a good time until Zak gets a call from Talib, his car has broken down.

Sean tells Siobhan that he’s told the Homeless Shelter that he wants to be with family this Christmas, especially now that he feels he has one. He even reckons it will be fun as they both run the pub together whilst Mary and Bill are on their honeymoon. Siobhan seems unconvinced somehow.

Mark asks Siobhan what’s going on between her and Hannah? Hannah is ignoring her, if she’s being rude, he will have a word with her.

Fatima and Zak wait for Talib before they eat. They get talking about the café and Fatima thinks the guys handing out the leaflets were hardcore, how would he like it if the BNP took over the café? The café owners have a right to say who uses their place. Nadia enters to collect something. Fatima thinks she’s Zak’s girlfriend. Zak explains Nadia is his sister and quickly changes the subject.

Before Mark goes home, he asks Siobhan why she and Hannah aren’t getting on. Siobhan says Hannah was lecturing her about double standards. Mark reckons Siobhan is the one with the problems.

Fatima holds out a spoon for Zak to taste their cooking. Nadia rings Zak to say she thinks Fatima likes him and it’ll do him good to have feelings. He tells her they have just met, he doesn’t know where she lives and he doesn’t have to lie to their parents about her, so she best stop comparing them to her and Sway.
