Have your say
Jai returns to lock up the gym. Why’s Sean left the reception unmanned? He hears a groan, and finds Sean on the floor.
Mary asks Shazia why she’s in the pub. Shazia says no one appeared at her constituent surgery, so she thought she’d come over. Mary gets her a drink, and then notices Mushtaq at the bar, so offers him one too. Mary says she knows why Shazia’s really there; obviously to watch the football! Mushtaq and Shazia begin to watch, trying to work out what’s going on. Shazia remarks that Mushtaq could give her some public speaking lessons. Mary goes to answer the phone, and suddenly grabs her things and rushes out. Mushtaq says it’s really hot in the pub. Shazia doesn’t agree, but it’s an excuse for Mushtaq to remove his jacket, revealing his Rangers tattoo! Shazia’s amazed at the new Mushtaq. He tells her it’s all down to her, reminding him to take risks. It means a lot to him. Shazia agrees that maybe it is hot in there! Mushtaq’s excited about tomorrow’s match – his new coach has a new aggressive strategy: nothing’s going to stop them. Shazia’s seeing a whole new side to Mushtaq, but he tells her this is the real him –soon he’ll be holding the FA trophy! He lifts his glass aloft, spilling his drink. His tattoo starts to smudge. It isn’t real! Shazia’s amused he’s still got a cautious side.
Jai lifts Sean out of his car at A&E. Mary arrives at the hospital. She’s upset, angry, quizzing Jai for answers. She tells Jai that he’s responsible for Sean if he works for him. Has he called the police? Jai says all he’s done is bring him to hospital. Jai reminds Mary he was always good at sorting trouble at the pub, and he’ll do the same at the gym. If there was any way he could have prevented it he would have. Later, Mary returns from the ward – Sean’s going to pull through. She’s sorry for shouting at Jai, but she was so worried. Jai heads outside for a cigarette and receives a call: has he got the message now? Jai tells them to leave Sean alone – they’ll get their money. They tell him he’s got to be in London tomorrow to see the boss. No more excuses, his time’s up.
