Have your say

Jaggy thanks Simran for letting his parents spend time with Kesar. Simran then tells Jaggy she knows he lied about seeing his parents in Bury. They are interrupted by Pritam who wants to get to the Diwali party. Simran agrees. They wouldn’t want to miss the fireworks would they?

Zenab is preparing for the family dinner later and Mushtaq reckons its good to see her with a smile on her face. He then asks Imran how the handover with Rozena went this morning. Imran says it was fine. Mushtaq reckons Imran holding the fort will free him up to concentrate on other things. Imran asks like what and is told to ‘watch this space’.

Jaggy tells Simran he didn’t stay with his parents in Bury because he didn’t want them to know about the job he went for. If he didn’t get it they would have seen him as a failure again. He convinces Simran he stayed in a hotel. Later Pritam advises Jaggy to make things work with Simran besides they have a child together. Jaggy says he can’t make Simran do anything she doesn’t want to do. Pritam advises him to take charge and win her back. He can’t just give up! Jaggy tries to broach the subject with Simran later but she says they shouldn’t spoil what they have now. And she realised today that trusting Jaggy is still an issue for her.

Rozena says she doesn’t intend to sit around Dubai twiddling her thumbs. Imran jokes she’ll take over if Sameer isn’t careful. Zenab says she is looking forward to visiting. With Imran in charge she and Mushtaq will have more time on their hands! Later Mushtaq makes a speech and then drops a bombshell. He is thinking of buying Silverhill Rangers football club – it’s on the market for a pound. Zenab dismisses this as a ridiculous idea and tells Mushtaq there is no way they are risking their finances on that. She heads off to get dessert leaving Rozena telling the others she thinks it would be a smart move.

In the kitchen Zenab continues to rant. Mushtaq has gone mad or maybe it’s some sort of mid-life crisis? She will not permit something so ludicrous. Mushtaq tells her it’s too late. She is looking at the brand new owner of Silverhill football club…..
