Have your say

Jaggy arrives to find Simran stressed because Kesar won’t get dressed. Jaggy steps in to help and soon has things sorted. He tells Simran not to stress about being expected to be in two places at once for Diwali as he has an idea. Why don’t the parents come here instead? Jaggy suggests they discuss it over lunch. Simran rushes off to work just as Jaggy’s phone bleeps to tell him he has a message.

Zenab is surprised to find Imran up early. Imran jokes about the City Farm papers being strategically placed for him to rest his cereal bowl on. Zenab realises she been caught out but says it would be nice to see him involved again. Imran tells her he has plans of his own and that he is going out. Zenab really must stop worrying about him.

Jaggy discovers his message is from Faye who is angry that he hasn’t returned her calls. Faye understands he has chosen Simran and Kesar but she didn’t deserve to find out like this. Faye finishes off by saying its Jaggy’s loss anyway! Jaggy heads off to tell Simran he can’t make lunch after all. He needs to do something urgent. Simran is furious but Jaggy hands Kesar over and rushes off.

Imran asks Nadia for some advice on colour themes as he plans to redecorate his house. Nadia reckons Kamal did a great job on the garden so he could work his magic on the inside too. Nadia then asks what the future holds for Imran. He says he is taking over the Jilani businesses when Rozena leaves and still plans to work on the city farm. The important thing is being allowed to make his own decisions again. Nadia says she’ll drink to that and they toast new beginnings.

Faye is watching daytime TV when the doorbell rings. When she discovers Jaggy on the step she slaps him hard across the face and says he deserves a lot worse than a slap for what he’s done. Later Faye has calmed down and tells Jaggy she just liked having him around. Jaggy says he never meant to hurt her or the kids and that he’ll always be there if Faye needs anything. Faye kisses Jaggy tenderly on the cheek as she sadly says goodbye….
