Krishan’s got his heart set on the latest games console for his birthday but Rita and Pradeep had other ideas. They don’t want him cooped up indoors playing computer games so they’ve bought him a bike instead. Krish’s face drops when he sees it. His mind’s soon taken off his disappointment when his mates arrive. Rita looks around and asks where Matty is. The lads snigger to themselves about Krishan’s old friend, he’s definitely not one of their gang. Rita and Pradeep try to entertain the lads but only succeed in embarrassing poor Krishan.
Jai arrives to see the birthday boy and he’s organised a treat for them all. Rita and Pradeep’s suggestion of bowling and pizza doesn’t stand a chance against Jai’s exciting firework display. Rita seethes as she watches Jai get one over her again, and to make it worse Kamla’s cooked up loads of snacks even though she knows they’re supposed to be going for a pizza.
Meanwhile at the gym Sean gets another warning for Jai when one of the heavies phones to remind him they mean business. He heads straight over to the park to tell Jai, but Jai doesn’t appear too worried about the threats. He laughs it off saying the thugs are just the brothers of a girl he’s dumped. Sean buys the story and is relieved that’s all it is. He warns Jai that they look very dodgy though.
Krishan is delighted with the fireworks and there’s more to come as Jai hands him his present; it’s exactly what he wanted! The lads cheer as they rush off with Krishan to play with it. Who needs the bowling alley when they can play it on the computer! Rita and Pradeep’s plans are ruined. Pradeep storms over and tells Jai it was a cheap trick trying to buy Krishan’s affections like he did with Arun. And now Arun’s lost all the money he’s too embarrassed to say anything. This revelation startles Jai. As Pradeep storms off again Jai immediately makes a call and we hear him groveling, trying to buy himself some time. It’s clear that whoever’s looking for him wants their money back … and they want it now.
