Siobhan’s helping Mary with wedding plans. Weddings aren’t really her thing though. They can’t agree on anything and Siobhan soon gets bored. She makes an excuse about finding Sean and escapes. Siobhan goes to the gym but instead of Sean she finds Jai. She asks Jai if Sean’s OK, he seemed quiet last night. She hopes Jai is looking out for him. Jai senses she’s trying to pick a fight. He pulls Siobhan towards him and says he’ll make her day better as he tries to kiss her. Siobhan pulls away, worried Sean might come back but Jai assures her he’ll be ages and the pair are soon kissing passionately. Suddenly they hear Sean coming back and only just manage to straighten themselves out before he walks in. When Siobhan’s gone Jai apologises for having a go at Sean yesterday and says he’s sorting out a bonus for him for all the hours he’s been putting in.
Jodie’s not impressed with having Gary as a lodger in the studio. He’s raided the café fridge in the night and left the door open ruining all the food. It’ll look bad as well when people come into the studio reception and see Gary asleep on the sofa. Isn’t there a homeless shelter he could go to she asks. She knows Kuljit wants to get into youth mentoring but this isn’t the way to do it. Reluctantly Kuljit agrees to talk to Gary.
Jodie tells Simran about their new lodger and complains that Kuljit should have consulted her first. She asks Simran where Kesar is. Simran explains that Jaggy’s looking after him; it’s great that he’s around for Kesar. When Jodie suggests that Jaggy turned down the Bury job for Simran she protests strongly. He turned it down for Kesar, not her, he made that very clear.
After she’s calmed down a bit Jodie feels guilty about asking Gary to leave and tells Kuljit they can work something out. Kuljit promises it’ll be ok and goes to tell Gary he can stay. When he goes into the studio though Gary has already gone, and all his stuff’s gone too. Jodie feels bad when she realises he must have heard them talking earlier. Kuljit reassures her it’s not her fault. Gary will be OK, he promises.
