Sean’s working alone at the gym when he hears strange noises coming from a storage room. Hesitantly he goes to investigate. Suddenly Jai jumps out yelling ‘trick or treat’ and bursts out laughing at Sean’s expression. Later, when he’s calmed down Sean shows Jai what he’s been working on. He’s found a list of members who have never visited the gym. Sean reckons if they did a mail out it would encourage them in and they might bring other new members. He’s startled though when instead of being impressed Jai blows his top. He tells Sean to stop snooping around the accounts and get on with his job. Sean storms off saying he’s finished for the day.
Some trick or treaters chuck eggs at the café window. Kuljit chases after them and follows them into a warehouse. He can’t see a thing in the darkness. Suddenly someone cries out when Kuljit steps on them. It’s not the pranksters though, it’s Gary. Kuljit sees straight away that Gary’s living rough and is in a bad way. With some difficulty Kuljit persuades Gary to come back to the studio with him. He can get something to eat and there’s a sofa there where he can get a proper night’s sleep, no questions asked.
Krishan and Ryan are out trick or treating as well. Ryan’s not interested in just knocking on anyone’s doors though, he’s heading for their IT teachers house. When they get there it looks like no-one’s in so Ryan tells Krishan to climb over the fence. Krishan’s not keen but Ryan persuades him. He panics though a dog runs towards him barking. He doesn’t like dogs … and they don’t like him. He manages to calm it down though by feeding it wine gums. Krishan and the dog act as look outs while Ryan gets on with the trick, rearranging all the garden statues into bizarre positions.
On the way home later Pradeep tells Krishan he’s glad he’s found a friend at his new school. Pradeep also mentions they know about him meeting Uncle Jai but they’re not cross with him. Krishan’s strangely quiet for a while then asks his dad, does that mean he can see Uncle Jai again?
