Shazia has an early morning phone call from Saffron Turlington’s father and hauls Danyal out of bed. She’s livid that he’s used her contacts without her permission, if he’d asked she might have helped. Now it’s turned into a disaster and there could be repercussions for her. She tells Danyal he has to give the Turlingtons a full refund … and fork out for the damages too. Shazia storms out leaving Danyal to work out where the money’s coming from.
Shazia calls at Pumpworks for some breakfast and tells Jas about her conversation with the Turlingtons, assuming Jas knows all about the disastrous party. Jas plays along and gets all the gory details from Shazia. Jas shouts to Jodie that she’s taking a break and heads straight round to see Arun. He’s not in, so she checks out his website and is shocked to see pictures from the Mela and the studio opening that he’s passing off as his events. When Arun comes in she demands to know what’s going on and Arun has to admit that it was Jai’s idea. Jas tells him to close the website down … now.
Sameer calls for Jaggy but finds him despondent. Jaggy’s been in touch with the local team but a new coach is not on their agenda, what they need is an investor or they’ll go under. Jaggy wonders if he made the right decision turning down the job in Bury. Sameer persuades Jaggy that what he needs is a jog in the fresh air. They head out and are soon joined by Jai who is testing out a new gizmo that measures speed, distance and lap-times as well as playing music. Sameer and Jaggy are pleased when Jai puts his earphones in and they can continue their conversation. Sameer needs to talk but he doesn’t want Jai listening. Sameer tells Jaggy he’s still confused by Rozena’s sudden enthusiasm in the bedroom. Jaggy assures him it’s a problem he’d welcome at the moment. Jai butts in joking that Jaggy sounds like Trisha, doling out sex advice and they realise he’s been listening all along. Embarrassed, Sameer’s had enough and heads off alone. He calls at Jilani Stores to see Rozena and finds her in a state. Every time she turns round someone is staring, she’s had enough and can’t wait to get away to Dubai.
