Have your say
It’s the day of ‘it-girl’ Saffron Turlington’s 18th birthday bash, and Arun and Danyal are proud of the job they’ve done organising it: the Ibiza beach theme has gone down a treat.
Mary is getting to know her son in-law, as Mark (Siobhan’s husband) helps her prepare for Pete’s birthday party. Siobhan is anxious that Mark his spending so much time with her mum. But then Pete arrives and everybody sings ‘happy birthday’. Mary takes the opportunity to announce to everyone that her and Bill have decided on a Christmas wedding. Siobhan asks ‘what wedding?’
Back at the Turlington’s, Security have turned away a load of party goers as they’ve reached the capacity of 100 guests. Saffron pleads with Arun and Danyal to let them in, so they do, much to the annoyance of the Security Guard.
Siobhan gives Pete his present, he apologises that the family didn’t let her know about the wedding earlier, but she’s used to being the last to know. Siobhan asks how Sean’s taking it and Pete says he’s really excited – even been designing the invites. Siobhan says she heard Jai’s got Sean working down the gym; what’s that about? Pete says she’ll have to ask Jai…
Later at the Turlington house, the Security Guards come looking for the rider of food that they were promised in their contract. Arun and Danyal have to admit they’ve forgotten. They promise to sort it out, straight after the next tune!
Mark has to get Hannah back to Manchester, but Siobhan is staying a few days. After he’s gone Mary expresses her approval, as does Sean who loved it when he ribbed Jai. Siobhan didn’t know Jai had been round, and seems disappointed to have missed him.
It’s starting to rain and Saffron’s guests descend on the house, which is strictly out of bounds. Arun and Danyal tell Security to stop them, but they’ve had enough – they still haven’t got their food and are leaving.
Arun and Danyal are distraught as party-goers ransack the Turlington mansion. They try to get everybody out, but it’s too late: Saffron’s parents are home.
